NASAAN?
Nasaan?
Hoy, ano?!?
Mahal kaya kita, di mo ba alam?

Oh God of Timothy and Jeremiah, we thank you for the gift of life that opens an opportunity to embrace the beauty of your creation. We feel Your presence in the songs of birds and the sounds of wiggling trees. We feel the warmth of your love in the humble heart of every youth. Dear father, we have proven your faithfulness through the years – since the time of our forefathers up to this time that we are facing many challenges in our church and in our community. Thank you for inspiring our generation to stand out for your honor and glory.
We pray for our church, Oh Lord, continue to help us to do justice and walk humbly in your light. Bless our church workers and leaders, especially the youths, that we may be united not only with Christ but also with one another. Let your words be always upon our lips that we may speak of blessings upon blessings. Forgive us Lord for many times that we have been insensitive to the needs of others and to the present realities that are affecting all of us.
We pray for our beloved Philippines; for our leaders and our people. We pray that you would continue to inspire us to share your love and compassion, that we may be able to make a positive difference in this world. Let you heart be our heart, that we may be able to love even the least and the poor. Your eyes be our eyes that we may see the needs of others and see light even in the darkness. Your hands be our hands that we may be able to do good and share what we have. And you feet be our feet, that we may be able to finish the race and take our own cross.
Lord, let the transformation of this nation start with us, your children. Let worship be a way of life. That everybody may see in us not the world but your kingdom. Lord, we are the youths, your sons and daughters. Bless our generation and the generations that succeed us. Help us to live a life like Jesus.
This is our prayer in the God of all youths, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Forget about the bad experience! I am happy to have completed an 8-hour sleep last night after some psychological distress in the past days due to idiosyncrasy. Alongside the lessons learned, time allows me to shoot for a bigger pie out of life…
Overwhelmed. My contract under probationary status (with my first work) has just expired last week. And after those six months of practicing my profession as HR Assistant, I am glad to have been promoted to HR Assistant Manager with supervisory functions, effective March 10. Though salary adjustment and benefits were not that good, I still am overwhelmed for having been trusted to hold such a position in the company despite my young age (being 21). And to think that I scored "outstanding" on performance evaluation was nothing but equally overwhelming. I would surmise that such promotion entails more expectation and commitment to better performance in the months or years ahead with the company. Well, cheers for the additional color to my resume!
Overjoyed. I had the chance to spend time with my sister who came over from province last weekend for her passport application. Once and for all, we indulged with impulsive buying and luxuriated ourselves with worldly riches in divisoria, then finally at the mall. Thanks for the free movie ticket!
Overexcited. My boss and I have been marketing our company services in the past days, which gave me the chance to meet with VIPs of various companies. Aside from doing business, it exposes me to places I never have gone before. Just last week, I was able to see the whole of Technopark in Laguna where industrial firms, mostly owned by Japanese and Chinese, thrive. It was only then that I discovered the gigantic manufacturing sites and warehouses of big companies here in Manila. What an exhilarating experience!

Another exciting thing is the long vacation ahead. I am heading to my hometown this weekend for my sis' wedding and concurrently for an early reunion with batch mates. Then, who wouldn't enjoy the four-day off from work as we make way for the holy week? Happy vacation folks!
